Vibhor Kumar is a computer scientist, amateur neuroscientist, and armchair philosopher of science. He likes working at the intersection of the theoretical and applied. His work has been involved in mapping fly brains, catching financial fraud, and keeping some of the biggest social media platforms safe.
He is working on classifai.dev, the MLaaS classification API for developers and agents, and caniretirenow.app, the most sophisticated retirement planner on the planet. He was formerly the Founding AI/ML Engineer at Cinder, where he led the development of safe high-scale detection and agentic moderation in the industry-leader T&S platform with customers including OpenAI, character.ai, and BeReal. He is also a hands-on advisor to AI startups, including Togethr.ai, a contributor open-source AI projects, and an angel investor.
He holds a BS in Computer Science from Caltech with a concentration in Machine Learning and an MBA from the Quantic Institute with a focus on entrepreneurship.
